Call for Proposals for technology transfer to Madagascar (Pelton & Banki turbines)

A transfer of technology on Banki and Pelton turbines to Madagascar is launched as part of the rural electrification program RHYVIERE implemented by Gret. Deadline is September 14, 2008.
The program RHYVIERE (Network Hydroelectric Villagers: Energy and the Environment) is a program of development of the micro hydropower for rural electrification of Madagascar.

This 4-year program (2008-2001) funded by the European Union is implemented by the French NGO GRET (Group for Research and Technological Exchange) in partnership with ADER (Development Agency of electrification rural Malagasy), Energy Assistance and the NGO St Gabriel.

Under the "technology transfer" program, GRET and ADER are looking for technology companies mastering design and manufacture of Pelton and Banki turbines and ready to transfer their technology to one or several companies in Madagascar.
